The BSB closes season 109 with a celebration of dance – five centuries of dance to be more precise. Explore with us the dances of centuries from around the world: the Can-Can, a fire dance, a saber dance, a polka, tango, jig, a reel and more! We even have a pirate dance, a mambo, a Can-Can and some BSB surprises along the way! Two selections will include guest soloist Dr. Sarah Hamilton, an accomplished oboist (see bio on our home page). Whether you slip on your dancin’ shoes or just sit and sway to the music, this program is sure to leave you dancing in the aisles with a smile on your face and a lilt in your step.
